Youngcare Submission to the Federal Inquiry into the NDIS Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Youngcare has made a formal submission to the Community Affairs Legislation Committee as part of its inquiry and report into the Securing the NDIS for Future Generations Bill, focusing on the long-term sustainability of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

As a national not‑for‑profit organisation supporting young people aged 16–65 with high physical support needs, Youngcare brings direct lived‑experience insights from participants, families and frontline services. The submission draws on Youngcare’s 20+ years of support in helping bridge the gap for those who have been unsuccessful in receiving critical support from State and territory funded disability services, and since 2013, the NDIS.
