Seven more young people exit aged care
Youngcare Home Soon Grants provide funding between $5,000 and $20,000 for essential equipment, home modifications and respite services to enable a young person to exit aged care.
The latest round closed on 1 June with seven applications and we’re delighted that all were successful.
The young Aussies who will be moving into supported accommodation or home to their loved ones are in Victoria, Queensland, ACT and New South Wales and received funding for equipment including pressure mattresses, hoists, electric wheelchairs or respite and in-home care.
