The Home Stretch!
The team did a whopping 36 kms yesterday and got in just before 5pm. A nice cool breeze all day which was ideal for walking. Medics Heather and Mark say there are some ‘very ugly feet’ about now but everyone is doing well, the group have retained their great senses of humour, and there have been heaps of laughs along the way.
Today has been cloudy, windy and overcast. Everyone is good though and really looking forward to returning to the base camp today.

Tomorrow will be the last day of trekking for the group and are expected to get into Birdsville around 4pm tomorrow afternoon.
