The Caxton Street Music Festival was abuzz with the aroma of freshly cooked seafood and the sound of afternoon acoustics. Our fantastic vollies did an awesome job working the crowd to raise much-needed funds for Youngcare.
Over the four major race days of the Brisbane Racing Carnival, Youngcare volunteers sold pins raising over $16,000 for young Aussies with high care needs. A massive thanks to Brisbane Racing Club and AAMI for your amazing support!
In June, Sayers Dance Centre hosted a very special charity concert, featuring a spectacular ‘Frozen’ recital, raising over $8,000 – a fantastic effort, thank you!
40 passionate volunteers rallied together on a chilly Friday night in June to sell over $21,000 of 50-50 tickets at the Broncos home game against the Newcastle Knights. Thanks to the 50-50 Foundation and Brisbane Broncos for a great night and brilliant outcome for both Youngcare and the lucky winner.
The third annual Queensland Apparel Charity Golf Day was held at Virginia Golf Club. The day was well supported with a 4-Ball-Ambrose format, followed by an auction. All proceeds from the day went to Youngcare with the auction items including a 2015 Gold Coast Suns’ signed Guernsey, and signed 2015 Broncos and 2014 QLD Origin jerseys. A big thank you to Drewe, Greg and Neville, and the generous support of the sponsors and players who contributed to the success of the event!
